Summer 2008
The sun is shining, the birds are singing (well, occasionally, this is England after all). It's summer, and that brings the release of big summer blockbusters. Which in this case can only mean one thing. Sophie's back! That's right. Featuring steep cobbled streets, cider that smells like manure, mystery drownings, colleagues in the closet, lots of wasps and a dream Christmas present, Still Waters is Sophie's biggest adventure yet. Can she survive a holiday with the ex she's still hopelessly in love with? Is she going to drown in the habour? Will all that festive food make her too fat?
Find out in Still Waters, now available from Samhain Publishing in e-book!
Both Kate and Cat (handily fitting together in one body, albeit with two appetites) have been busy working on exciting projects, such as the sequel to the award-winning Almost Human and the next Sophie Green mystery.
In April I was invited to join Mensa, the high IQ society (I know, I was shocked too). In May I attended the RNA Summer Party to cheer on my fellow Samhellion Jane Lovering, who was nominated for the Joan Hessayon Award. In July I plan to attend the RNA National Conference in Chichester, where I've been invited to speak on an author panel, about paranormal romance. If you're attending, feel free to come and throw rotten fruit at me and ask difficult questions about elves.
